About This Service
HIV/AIDS Services provide lifelong, integrated care for patients living with HIV:
- HIV Testing Services (HTS): Voluntary counseling and confidential HIV screening
- Early Diagnosis & Linkage to Care: Immediate enrollment into HIV care after positive test
- Antiretroviral Therapy (ART): Lifelong treatment using combination antiretroviral drugs
- Clinical Monitoring: Regular assessment of viral load, CD4 count, and general health
- Opportunistic Infection Management: Treatment and prevention of infections such as TB, pneumonia, and fungal diseases
- Adherence Counseling: Continuous support to ensure proper and consistent medication use
- Prevention Services: Education on safe practices and prevention of HIV transmission
- Mother-to-Child Transmission Prevention (PMTCT): Care for HIV-positive pregnant women and newborns
- Laboratory Monitoring: Routine viral load testing and drug resistance monitoring
